Shipping, Returns, & Warranty Policy

1. Product Warranty

Our products are guaranteed for the first year. If a product proves to be defective within this period, we will offer a repair, replacement or a compensation, depending on the defect in question and the product’s availability, because your satisfaction is our priority.

This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, excessive usage or accidental damage (see section 4 below).

In order to return your defective product, the first step is to contact our customer service (info@peppermintcycling.com) and explain the issue. Photos and context are always very helpful. Your email subject should be HELP_OrderNumber.

If your defective product is covered by our warranty, we will send you a prepaid shipping label. All you will have to do is print it, apply it onto your package and bring it to a Canada-Post office at your earliest convenience. The quicker you send it, the faster you’ll have it back!

It is crucial that the products returned for warranty reasons are perfectly clean (washed and dried). If these conditions are not met, we may return the products back to you… pretty sure you would do the same!

 

2. Shipping

Normally, all orders are processed and shipped within 3 business days following the date of the payment. PEPPERMINT Cycling Co. team processes orders from Monday to Friday (between 9AM and 5PM). Don’t expect to catch us at the office during the weekend, we’re probably out riding with friends!

All packages are shipped with Canada Post within Canada, with USPS within the United States and with Fedex for all international orders.

If for some reasons, you would like a faster shipping, please contact us at info@peppermintcycling.com. We know how fun it is to be able to show off your new gear on a cycling trip or during a special event! Please note that the shipping cost may vary depending on your needs.

If you would like to pick up your order in person (and avoid shipping fees), do not hesitate to contact us to plan your pick-up (the PEPPERMINT Basecamp is located at Mont-Tremblant). We’ll be happy to meet you!

Shipping is FREE within Canada for purchases of CAN$150.00 or more.

Shipping is FREE within USA for purchases of CAN$300.00 or more.

For all other orders, shipping costs are fixed :

  • Canada : CAN$10.00, plus tax
  • United States : CAN$19.00, plus tax
  • International : CAN$40.00, plus tax

    2.1. United States and International orders

    Please note that United States and International orders may be subject to local duties and taxes incurred by the importing country and that it is up to the customer to pay these charges. If the customer refuses to make the payment, the package will be returned and the order will be refunded, less the shipping charges. Despite our team's best efforts, customs may cause additional delivery time.

    2.2. Wrong Address

    If your package was sent, but didn’t make it through because of an error when entering your delivery address upon checkout, you will be charged an extra delivery fee in order to send back the package to the correct address. Make sure to double check your information before checking out!

     

    3. Exchange and Return

    Following reception of your order, you have 15 days to return or exchange a product if it does not suit you.
    Accessories (arm warmers, sport bras, socks, caps, bands and bottles) and all discounted items (including Bundles) cannot be returned, as they are final sales.
    In case of a return or a product exchange, it is always possible to bring your product directly in person to our Basecamp located at Mont-Tremblant (to avoid delivery costs). Do not hesitate to get in touch with us to organize everything.

      3.1. Exchange

      At PEPPERMINT, exchanges are processed as returns.

      If you wish to exchange a product for a different size, the fastest way is to return the original product and to purchase the new product online. We will refund your original order as soon as we receive it.

      See section “3.2” for more information on How to Proceed with Returns.

      3.2. Return

      Refunds will be made according to the original method of payment used for your order. Initial shipping fees will not be refunded. If your product is a gift, the refund will be credited to the original purchaser.

      For a hassle free and less expensive return, here’s how to proceed:
      Note that the return is at your expense, but that you benefit from the favorable PEPPERMINT rate ($10.00, plus tax). 

      1.  Contact Us at  info@peppermintcycling.com.
      • Your email subject should be RETURN_OrderNumber.
      • Your email should include your full name, the product style, colour and size.
      • Wait for our answer, it shouldn’t be too long!

        2. Ship your Return Package
      • We will send you a $10.00 invoice to cover the cost of return of your package. If you return an item to exchange it, we can add these charges to your new order.
      • Once the transaction is approved, we will send you via email a Canada Post return label. This label will allow us to track your package and avoid package losses. Print the return label.
      • Pack the product(s) you are returning and seal the package.
      • Apply the return label on your package.
      • Bring your package to the Canada Post office nearest you.

        3. Get Your Refund
        • Once the package is received, we will treat your return. Please note that refunds are processed once a week and that it can take a few days to appear on your credit card report depending on your financial institution.

       

      First-time PEPPERMINT purchase*

      Return is FREE for your first purchase with PEPPERMINT, because we know that the first try isn’t always the perfect one!

      If it's your first PEPPERMINT order, please let us know in your email. 

      *Applies only to Canadian orders. For orders from the United States or International orders, please contact us at info@peppermintcycling.com

       

      Make sure you return the item(s) unworn and unwashed. Please note that if you wish to return or exchange Cycling Shorts or Bib Shorts, the hygienic protector placed on the cycling pad must still be in place. PEPPERMINT Cycling Co. reserves the right to refuse any product that does not meet the criteria above. If so, you will be charged an extra delivery fee in order for us to send the items back.  

       

      3.3. United States and International Exchanges and Returns

      Packages with custom fees will be refused. All returned articles must be declared as "Canadian goods return" on the custom declaration. If you forget to do so, the package may be refused and sent back to you.

       

      3.4. Return to Sender

      If your order returns to us with the mention “Return to Sender”, and that you do not wish to have this package resent to you and prefer getting a refund, we will deduct $10 from your refund to cover the return shipping fees (applicable to all Canadian orders).

      For all United States or international orders returned to us with the mention “Return to Sender”, our customer service will contact you to follow up with more details.

       

      4. Crash Replacement

      If, unfortunately, you are caught in a fall or other incident that caused damages to your PEPPERMINT products, do not hesitate to contact us. Photos and context are always very helpful. Based on the information provided, we will evaluate what is possible to be done and try to revamp your favorite products! We hope you are well and that your products and you will be able to continue riding together!

      Your email subject should be CRASH_Items.

      5. Payments

        PEPPERMINT Cycling Co. accepts only payment via Shopify Payment and Paypal.

        6. Product Reservation

        It is not currently possible to reserve items on our website. Please note that items added to your shopping cart remain available to other customers until your transaction is duly completed.

        Client Satisfaction

        With proper care, all of our products are made to last through plenty of rides, epic adventures, hardcore training, and anything else you throw at. We know that nothing is perfect, and that product defects can happen.

        The PEPPERMINT team ensures that our products are made of high quality and we aim to reflect the industry’s highest standards. If you ever find a manufacturing defect in any PEPPERMINT product, please contact us at info@peppermintcycling.com with your name and a picture of the product in question.
