After being inspired by my brother, I can say with certainty that buying my first road bike was one of the best decisions I ever made. Cycling has opened my eyes to a whole community of amazing people and way of life. For me, cycling is less about competing and more about the opportunities it presents to meet people, travel the world, be in nature and stay healthy.
After moving to BC from Montreal, I was introduced to mountain biking and have also fallen in love. Living in Vancouver has allowed me to enjoy biking 12 months of the year and now I can’t imagine it being any other way. However, I am still a Quebecer at heart and I am extremely proud to be able to represent PEPPERMINT on the west coast! As an Ambassador, I want to be able to share my passion with others and get more women on two wheels. Being on a bike – whether it be riding through traffic, racing in a peloton or cruising the loamy trails – is empowering. My advice to anyone hesitating to buy a bike is to see it as an investment in your future, and overall wellbeing. Biking will give and teach you so many things that money can’t buy.
