I tried mountain biking for the first time during the summer of 2015 and I instantly fell in love. It took me another two years to put enough money aside to buy the equipment I needed and take this newly discovered passion to the next level. What I like the most about mountain biking is that I discover and learn something new every time I go up on the mountain. It can be a new technique to go up faster or a new trail, I push my limits every time and it’s a feeling I constantly strive for.
When I’m not on my bike, I’m lucky enough to work for an organization that allows me to live from my passion of sports. I work as a Community Engagement Specialist for the Canadian Olympic Committee to inspire the next generation of athletes. Just like mountain biking, I am passionate about my job and my work allows me to challenge myself. In my free time, I snowboard in the winter and bike in the summer. If I’m not on my bike or my board, I’m probably hiking with my dog Rio or looking for a new recipe to try as I absolutely love to cook. Thanks to my passions and my job, I also get to travel the world every now and then!
Being relatively new to the sport, I can’t wait to keep improving and pushing my limits with the PEPPERMINT community!
